Mondloch, Mathias J. (1901 - 1983)


Mathias J. Mondloch, 81, of 6046 Holly Lane, West Bend, Wis., died at St. Joseph's Community Hospital, West Bend, on Sunday, May 1, 1983.

Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. J.J. Burggraf at 11 a.m., Thursday, May 5, 1983, at Crhist the King Catholic Church, Spencer.

Burial will be in the West Spencer Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Rux Funeral Home, Spencer, from 3-8 p.m., on Wednesday, May 4.

Mathias Mondloch was born to Matt and Mary (Nee Laures) Mondloch, on Nov. 25, 1901, at Prot Washington, Wis.

On Oct. 16, 1923, he and Leonore Wiesner were married at St. Briggits in the Town of Wayne. She preceded him in death on Nov. 17, 1963. On Aug. 24, 1964, he married Florence Filenze Juech at West Bend.

After his first marriage, he worked at the Gehl Co. in West Bend until 1946, when they moved to the Greenwood, Clark County area and farmed. They moved to the Town of Sherman in 1949, and lived there until 1962, when they moved into Spencer. He had worked for the Prashcak Machine Co. of Marshfield for a number of years, before moving to West Bend in 1964.

Survivors include his wife, Florence seven Sons, Dalbert of Greenwood, Anthony (Tony) of New Richmond, Leon of Spencer, Robert of Marshfield, James of Oconto Falls, Allen of Spencer and Raymond of Spencer two daughters, Mrs. Hubert (Marcelene) Schmitz of Greenwood and Mrs. Richard (Delores) Martens of Loyal two step-sons, Darwin Juech of West Bend and Melroy Juech of West Bend two step-daughters, Mrs. Jerry (Cordell) Engright of Kewaskum and Mrs. Larry (Noreen) Johnson of West Bend 27 grandchildren 19 great-grandchildren 18 step-grandchildren and six step-great-grandchildren.

Preceding him in death besides his first wife and parents were one son and two brothers.

Rux Funeral Home, Spencer, is in charge of arrangements.

Mondloch, Mathias J. (25 November 1901 - 1 May 1983)

SPENCER _- Mathias J. Mondloch, 81, Holly Lane, West Bend, formerly of Spencer, died Sunday at St. Joseph's Community Hospital, West Bend.

Services will be Thursday at Christ the King Catholic Church, Spencer. The Rev. J.J. Burggraf will officiate. Burial will be in West Spencer Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Schmidt Funeral Home, West Bend and the Rux Funeral Home, Spencer.

He was born November 25, 1901 in Port Washington, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Matt Mondloch. His first marriage was to Leonora Wiesner October 16, 1923 in St. Bridget's Catholic Church, Town of Wayne. She died November 17, 1963. On August 22, 1964 in West Bend he married Florence Fllenze Juech; she survives.

He was employed at the Gehl Co. of West Bend until 1946 when he moved to the Greenwood area. He then moved to a farm in the Town of Sherman until 1962. He also worked at Praschak Machine Co., until retiring. After his marriage in 1964 he moved back to West Bend and lived there since.

Also surviving are seven sons, Dalbert of Greenwood, Anthony of New Richmond, Robert of MArshfield, James of Oconto Falls, Allen, Leon and Raymond, all of SPencer; two daughters, Mrs. Hubert (Marcelene) Schmitz of greenwood and Mrs. Richard (Delores) Martens of Loyal; 27 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and the following step-children, Darwyn Juech and Melroy Jeusch of West Bend, Mrs. Jerry (Cordell) Eright of Kewaskum and Mrs. Larry (Norene) Johnson of West Bend; 18 step-grandchildren and six-step-great-grandchildren.

He was also predeceased by his parents, one son, and two brothers.
