Hannan, Robert F. (1932 - 1982)


Robert F. Hannan, 50, of 801 Birch St., Spencer, died at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield, on Friday, Dec. 3, 1982.

Funeral services for Mr. Hannan were on Monday, Dec. 6, at Christ the King Catholic Church, Spencer. Rev. Andrew Bofenkamp officiated and burial was in the parish cemetery.

Robert Hannan was born on Feb. 9, 1932, at Loyal, Clark County. He was educated at Loyal Public Schools.

He was married to Rita Gessert on April 27, 1955, at Bakerville.

He worked as an upholsterer for Badger Fixtures of Marshfield and had served in the U.S. Army.

He was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church.

Surviving him are his wife three sons, David and Dennis of Marshfield and Daryl of Spencer one daughter, Mrs. Dale (Debra) Foth of Marshfield four grandchildren four sisters, Mrs. Howard (Dorothy) Sturtz of Neillsville, Mrs. Richard (Annette) Delorimer of Camel, Cal., Mrs. William (Rita) Meyer of Madison and Mrs. Charles (Terri) Vessel of Detroit, Mich. one brother, James of Loyal and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Hannan of Neillsville.

Serving as pallbearers were Ricky Sturtz, Randy Gessert, Paul Baltus, Tom Meyer, Peter Hannan and Mark Lyons.
