Bauer, Elaine (1927 - 1982)

Elaine R. Bauer, 55, of 204 W. Elm Drive, Loyal, Clark County, died Monday, Oct. 4, 1982, at 7 p.m. at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., on Thursday, Oct. 7, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church Loyal. Officiating will be Rev. James Logan. Interment will be at St. Anthony's Cemetery, with Leroy Kauth, Al Bushman, Jim Beaver, Mike Bauer, Danny Smrecek and Eddie Rueth serving as pallbearers.

Visitations will be after 3 p.m. on Wednesday. A Parish Council of Catholic Women Rosary will be at 3:15 p.m., Prayer Service at 8 p.m. and a Knights of Columbus Rosary at 8:30 p.m., Wednesday.

Elaine White was born on Feb. 22, 1927, at Loyal, to James and Eva (nee Schwieso) White. She was educated at Loyal Parochial and Loyal High school.

She and Robert Bauer were married on Oct. 4, 1947, at Loyal. After their marriage, they farmed in the Town of Eaton, moving to the City of Loyal in 1980.

She was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church and its Ladies Aid.

Survivors include her husband, Robert five daughters, Mrs. Mark (Jo Ann) Adams of Dallas, Texas, Mrs. Gene (Roberta) Johnson of Nashville, Tenn., Mrs. Tom (Lonnette) Duell of Loyal, Mrs. Ken (Sharon) Volovsek of Willard and Lori, at home four sons, Dennis of Greenwood, David of Loyal and Wayne and Doug, at home one brother, Kenneth White of Rockford, Ill. one sister, Mrs. Harold (Melva) Hendrickson of Greenwood and fifteen grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were one son, Mark her parents three grandsons one brother and one sister.

Rinka Funeral Home, Loyal, is in charge of arrangements.
