Leo Dill

 

Pfc. Leo Dill was born in Greenwood on December 17, 1924, and lived here until entering the Armed Forces in march 1942.

He was stationed at Camp Butner, N. C., Camp Pickett, Va., Fort George Mead, Md., and Nashville, Tenn., before going overseas in May 1944. He landed in England and then went to Holland. Leo was killed in action in Holland, on October 7, 1944.
