Clarence J. Zook

Clarence J. Zook, was the editor of the NEW ERA Newspaper from  March 1898 through July 1899 in Dorchester, Mayville Township, Clark Co., Wisconsin.  Clarence Zook went to Iowa from Dorchester in 1899.

He was noted as publishing the weekly Sun-Herald (Rep.) on Wed. in Lime Springs, Iowa in 1911.

Another entry which may be irrelevant is an 8 yr. Clarence Zook listed in 1900 census for Jasper Co., Ind.

Editor Clarence Zook, of the Dorchester New Era, visited Neillsville this past week, getting acquainted with other printers. We hope the people of Dorchester appreciate the good newspaper Zook is giving them.
