Dyer, Lottie (Marriage - 20 NOV 1900)

George L. Sontag and Miss Lottie Dyer were married at Chicago, Tuesday noon, Nov. 20, 1900. None of the young people of our city are better and more favorably known than the contracting parties. Mr. Sontag has grown to manhood in Neillsville, Clark County, and his long connection with the C.C. Sniteman Co. drug store has brought to him a larger circle of friends in the country round about than is possessed by many young men of his age. The bride, whose home was in Mauston, is a young lady whose sterling qualities have stood the test of several years in Neillsville schools, and whose patrons and pupils are delighted to know that her permanent home is to be here. The honesty and business capacity of the groom and the lovable social characteristics of the bride will make the new home that is opened up, one which our city may be proud to welcome. It is a valuable accession. The newly married couple remained in Chicago four days, returning to Mauston Saturday and arriving in Neillsville Tuesday morning, where they will be at home to their friends in their home on Grand Ave. after Dec. 20. No congratulations were ever heartier no good wishes more sincere than those proffered Mr. and Mrs. Sontag on every had and the Republican and Press join in these with the rest.
