Christman, Elmer Louis (8 April 1898 - 19 November 1967)

Elmer Louis Christman, 69, of Owen, died Sunday in Neillsville. Funeral services were conducted Wednesday from the Georgas Funeral Home. The Rev. W. C. Koehler of the United Church of Christ officiated. Burial was made in the Neillsville City Cemetery.

Mr. Christman was born April 8, 1898, in the Town of Lynn. He attended the Lynn School and later did farm work. He later moved to the Owen-Withee area, where he was employed by the Clark County Highway Department. He retired in 1963. He was married on February 11, 1925, to the former Senta Schutte in Neillsville.

Survivors are his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Charles (Dorothea) Meier of Neillsville; two sisters, Mrs. Henry (Nora) Embke of Neillsville and Mrs. Ernest (Belva) Wasson of Eagle; a brother, Claire Christman of Memorial Home in Neillsville; four grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
