Columbia (29 APR 1915)

Jacques’ North Wisconsin Yellow Dent seed corn, 99% germination test, ripe in 90 to 100 days, 100 baskets grain to the acre, for sale by August Schlender, Columbia. Ask him for folder describing this corn.

Mr. and Mrs. Linder drove to Neillsville Thursday.

Alfred Tuma is back from Chicago.

J.J. Twamley has purchased a horse.

Wednesday night 450 pounds of dynamite was taken from August Schlender’s building near the railroad track. He had some bloodhounds on the trail Friday, but the party has not been located up to this time. Some time ago six pair of shoes were taken from the same building. One panel of the door had been kicked out, but it is evident that the thief did not enter through this opening as there were bits of wood hanging to the sides which would have been brushed away if he had.

Peter Fredrickson’s horse died Thursday.

Bob Moravec had been doing some dynamiting for Mr. Tuma.

Paul Youker has rented the Balch farm.

Miss Myrtle Evans spent Sunday with Miss Mable Schlender.

J. Twamley has rented the Todd farm.
