W. Comis of Hewettville was in town on business today.

F.C. Baxter did business in Neillsville Tuesday and Wednesday.

S.F. Robertson and A. Alderman made a business trip to Neillsville Tuesday.

Mrs. Geo. Crandell has been having a serious time with a felon on her thumb, but is now better.

Miss Minnie Carter will leave for Milwaukee this week, where she will attend the ladies' college.

Mrs. Holbrook returned from Fairchild Saturday accompanied by her daughter, Mrs. Allen Young.

The social will meet with Mr. and Mrs. Geo. King this week Friday evening. All are cordially invited.

Miss Maud Carroll returned home with Mr. and Mrs. Holbrook of Fairchild Saturday evening for a few days visit.

A pleasant time was had by all who attended the Masonic installation Saturday evening. It is thought about 90 were in attendance.

H.E. Wescott reports taxes coming in rather slow, but expects a grand rush about the 10th, as the extra percentage commences after that date.
