Pautz, Mary Ann (10 AUG 1963)

Miss Mary Ann Pautz, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Pautz, and Robert J. Morrow, son of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Morrow, all of Abbotsford, exchanged marriage promises Saturday, Aug. 10, 1963, at St. Bernard's Catholic Church at 11 o'clock, preceding a nuptial high mass at which the Rev. Raymond B. Schulz officiated. The double ring ceremony took place before the altar which was decorated with vases of yellow and white gladioli.

The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, wore a ballerina length gown of pure silk organza over white faille taffeta. The molded bodice was styled with short sleeves and a coop neckline and the skirt had un-pressed pleats at the waist with a side wrap effect in front of the entire dress. A horsehair braid crown with rolled tulle in a petal rose effect with a pearl motif center secured her short halo style veil of imported English illusion. She carried a bouquet of yellow roses.

Attending the couple were Miss Ann Held of Slinger, a college classmate and sorority sister of the bride, and Robert Leichtnam of Marshfield, a friend of the groom. Norman Lukas of Abbotsford performed the ushering duties.

The maid of honor was attired in a blue silk organza sheath with an overskirt and carried a basket of yellow and white daisies.

For her daughter's wedding Mrs. Pautz chose a brown eyelet dress and green accessories. She wore a corsage of white roses and Mrs. Morrow pinned a corsage of yellow roses to the blue dress which she wore with yellow accessories.

Dinner was served to 75 guests in the church dining room, after which a recetpion followed at the Morrow home.

A rehearsal dinner was served by the bride's parents at the Colby Hotel.

The new Mr. and Mrs. Morrow left on a wedding trip to Mackinac and on their return will live on Oak St. in Abbotsford.

The bride is a graduate of Wausau Senior High School and Wis. State College, Stevens Point. For the past three years she taught at Racine Public School and will teach the Dor-Abby first grade at Abbotsford this year.

Her husband is a graduate of Abbotsford High School and is employed at the Abbotsford Lumber Co.

Guests from away who attended the wedding came from Wausau, Beloit, Slinger, Ripon, plus Illinois and Colorado
