Voigt(Fischer), Hildigard (11 NOV 1890 – 11 JAN 1963)

Rev. Alden Moldenhauer officiated at funeral services for Mrs. Adolph Voigt, 72, Loyal, at 2 p.m. Monday in Trinity Lutheran church.  Burial was in the Loyal cemetery.  The Myre Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Voigt died at her home at 7:10 p.m.  Friday.  She had been in ill health for the past three months.

Mrs. Erwin Dux and Mrs. Ervin Noeldner sang “Sleeping Jesus” and “Nearer my God to Thee”.  They were accompanied by Faith Moldenhauer at the organ.

Pallbearers were Albert Wetzel, James Roder, Henry Boe, Julius Ehlert, Ernest Sanger and Ferdinand Gotter.

The former Hildigard Fischer was born November 11, 1890, in the town of Rock, Wood County and was married to Adolph Voigt on August 4, 1910, in the Lutheran Church at Nasonville.

The couple lived on a farm in Nasonville for two years after which Mrs. Voigt assisted her husband in the cheese business, living in various places in Wood, Clark and Marathon Counties.  They moved to Loyal in 1947 where they have since resided.  Mrs. Voigt was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and of the Women of the Church.

She is survived by her husband, four sons, Arthur, Edgar; Leland, Des Plains, Illinois; Elroy Eden; and Adolph, Jr., Carpentersville, Illinois; four daughters, Mrs. Harry (Adeline) Franz, Neillsville; Mrs. Lynn (Bonita) Ketchpaw, Oak Park, Illinois; Mrs. Walter (Vivian) Verhalen, Dousman; and Mrs. Joseph (Alvera) Zilk, Hales Corners; 27 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a brother, Ernest Fischer, Milwaukee; two sisters, Mrs. Charles (Leona) Difenbach, Milwaukee; and Mrs. Charles (Barbara) Bulgrin, Marshfield.  A brother, Max, preceded her in death.

Those attending from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Voigt and family, Edgar; Leland Voigt, Des Plains, Illinois; Mr. and Mrs. Elroy Voigt, Eden; Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Voigt, Jr., Carpentersville, Illinois; Mr. and Mrs. Harry Frantz and family, Neillsville; Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Ketchpaw, Oak Park, Illinois; Mrs. Walter Verhalen, Dousman; Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Zilk and family, Hales Corners; Ernest Fischer, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Diefenbach, Alice and Dorothy, Milwaukee; Mr. and Mrs. Charles Bulgrin, Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Fischer, Mrs. Dayton Fischer, Mr. and Mrs. Rueben Donner, Mr. and Mrs. Gerhardt Riedel and Duane, Marshfield; Arno Riedel, Mrs. Hulda Riedel, Mrs. Rueben Boetner, Mr. Lerche, Potter; Mr. and Mrs. Donald Rekowski and family, Minneapolis, Minnesota; Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Grop, Mr. and Mrs. Alan Voigt, Frank Dobes, Neillsville; Mrs. William Voigt, Clifford Voigt, Forest Voigt, Nasonville; Mr. and Mrs. Ted Bartz, Stratford.
