Mantik, Mr./Mrs. Fred (Silver - 4 JUN 1963)

Mr. and Mrs. Fred Mantik of rural Abbotsford and Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Paulson of Wausau celebrated their 25th wedding anniversaries Sunday from 2 to 4:30 at the cafeteria of the Dor-Abby High School, Abbotsford.

The former Emilie Paulson and Frank Mantik and the former Esther Mantik and Herbert Paulson were united in marriage at Wausau, June 4, 1938.

The attendants for Mr. and Mrs. Mantik were present for the 25th anniversary. They were Miss Lucinda Paulson of Los Angeles and Edwin Mantik of Gleason.

Mrs. Edward Ostertag (Evelyn Mantik) of Lake Elmo, Minn., and Mark Paulson of Los Angeles, attendants for the Paulsons, were unable to be present Sunday.

About 150 guests attended the reception and the buffet supper, for which the table was decorated with silver candle holders and sliver tapers and a two tier wedding cake. Silver bells were also used in the decorations.

For the occasion, the brides of 25 years ago had corsages of pink roses, as did the bridesmaid, Miss Lucinda Paulson. The grooms had boutonnieres.

Mr. and Mrs. Mantik are the aprents of five children, all present at the celebration: Gerald of Edgar, Mrs. Bruce Armstrong of Madison, Ruby, Wausau, and Gloria at Sally at home.

Eight of the ten children of Mr. and Mrs. Paulson attended the festivities. Miss Judith Paulson of California, and John Paulson, route 1, Colby, were not here. Those attending were James of route 1, Colby, and Jeffrey, Larry, Susan, Joel Gerald, Wendy and Janice, all at home.

Other guests came from Rockford, Ill., Wausau, Ripon, Madison, Rothschild, Athens, Milan, Merrill, Medford, Unity and Abbotsford.
