Greenwood (5 October 1967)

Mr. and Mrs. Don Warner returned from their trip to Montana, where they spent a week with friends, and with relatives in La Crescent, Minn.

Mr. and Mrs. Einar Jackson and son Duane, Lawrence Jackson, Mrs. Thomas Larson and children, Mr. and Mrs. Don Warner, and Mr. and Mrs. Lee Jackson and family attended a Jackson family reunion Sunday at the Harold Jackson home in La Crescent, Minn., and also attended the “apple festival” there that day.

Mrs. Carl Stabnow entertained members of the Intersee club at her home September 27.

Relatives and friends attended a miscellaneous bridal shower Tuesday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Franz, in honor of their niece, Miss Joyce Albert, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Albert of Greenwood. Miss Albert and Lyle L. Bulgrin will be married at 2:30 p.m. October 7, in Immanuel United Church of Christ, Greenwood. Refreshments were served by the hostesses, Mrs. Franz, Mrs. Elvert Fravert, Mrs. LeRoy Fravert, and Mrs. Allen Fravert.

Weekend guest of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Kaudy was their daughter, Mrs. Marie O’Connor of Chicago.

Guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Erwin Toburen were: Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Schmidt of Alma; Mr. and Mrs. Rudy Zeller and sons of Cochrane; Mr. and Mrs. Bill Weison of Antigo; Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Herbolt of Pierson, Ia.; Mr. and Mrs. Kermit Bell of Neillsville; Mr. and Mrs. Delmar Toburen, Mr. and Mrs. Delmain Toburen and sons, Mrs. Elvera Fravert and children and Mrs. Olga Reineking of Greenwood; and Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Milestone of Shullsburg, who spent from Thursday until Saturday there.

Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Strey and daughter, Lorri, moved Monday from Loyal into the Brux trailer court in Greenwood.

Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Milestone of Shullsburg and Mr. and Mrs. Erwin Toburen were guests Friday evening at the Kermit Bell home in Neillsville.

Mr. and Mrs. Vic Jacobs of Detroit, Mich., spent from Thursday until Saturday at the Henry Goettsch home.

Mr. and Mrs. Henry Vollrath have returned after a week’s visit in Janesville with their son, Verne, and family.

Lewis Kaudy returned Friday after a checkup at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Madison.
