Schilling, Nancy C. (25 MAY 1945 - 7 NOV 2012)

Nancy C. Schilling, age 67, of Chili, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on November 17, 2012, at Ministry Saint Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield.

Nancy was born on May 25, 1945, in Marathon County, the daughter of Harold and Mildred (Warren) Hansen. She attended Veefkind and Spencer Schools.

Following graduation she worked at Felker Ford in Marshfield. She married Philip Schilling on May 7, 1966. She and Phil raised their family in Chili, WI. She also assisted Phil in the family business, and was an auxiliary member of Gideons' International. She taught Bible School, Sunday School, and was assistant youth director at Immanuel United Methodist Church of Chili, WI.

Nancy is lovingly survived by her husband, Philip Schilling, of Chili, WI, daughter Lisa (Pat) Ule, Chili, WI, and sons Luke (Stacy) Schilling of Granton, WI, and Lance Schilling of Park Rapids, MN; and two grandchildren, Cole and Dillon. Nancy is also survived by her sister, Ruthanne Rahm of Marshfield, WI. She is further survived by two sisters-in-law, Sandy Hansen and Marjorie Hansen, as well as many other relatives and friends.

Nancy's hobbies included following the sport of her sons' auto-racing and daughter's horse-showing and truck pulling.

She enjoyed cooking and baking for her family, especially holiday meals and other special family events. Flowers were her passion.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Mildred Hansen, and her three brothers, Raymond Hansen, Donald Hansen, and Allan Hansen.

A celebration of Nancy's life will be held on Sunday, December 9, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Immanuel United Methodist Church in Chili, WI with a memorial service at 5 p.m. and a meal to follow.
