Uerling, Irene B. (28 NOV 1911 - 14 NOV 2012)

Irene B. Uerling, 100, Wausau, died Wednesday, November 14, 2012 under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services at Our House Assisted Living, Wausau.

She was born November 28, 1911 in Curtiss, daughter of the late Carl and Selma (Kindt) Fakes. On October 21, 1931 she married Matthew Uerling in Colby. He preceded her in death on September 10, 1973.

Survivors include her daughter, Jane (David) Beste, Wausau; special great niece, Elaine (David) Dellvon and their children, Joy, Joanna and Jamie Dellvon, Wausau; step-sister, Helen Olson, Tennessee, many other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Besides her parents and husband, Matt, she was preceded in death by brothers, Art, Walter, Raymond, Albert and infant Gerhardt Fakes, sisters, Josephine Young, Anna Hedding, Ida Raddatz, Anita Free and Ettamay Ruge, step-brother, Clarence Koerner and step-sister, Linda Gaurke.

Funeral services will be 11:30 a.m. Saturday, November 17, 2012 at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services all at the Sixth Street funeral home.

The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to Dr. Richetto, the staff at Our House Assisted Living and Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services for the compassionate care given to Irene.
