Mueller, Alvin A. (30 MAR 1939 - 23 SEP 2012)

Alvin A. Mueller, age 73, of Owen, passed away Sunday, September 23, 2012, at Ministry St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield.

Alvin was born March 30, 1939, to Carl and Mata (Steen) Mueller in sun Prairie. He received his education in Riplinger.

Alvin and Donna Mundt were joined in marriage January 17, 1959, in Riplinger. Alvin owned and operated a farm outside of Owen, and he worked as a milk hauler and cheese maker for AMPI, later Foremost Farms.

Alvin is survived by his children, Michael (Pam) Mueller, Withee, Melvin (Dawn) Mueller, Owen, Linda (Todd) Utke, Owen, Laurie Paczkowski, Withee and Sherry (Scott) Strassburger, Unity; 18 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren, four sisters, Arlene (Ronald) Sperling, Sharon (Doug) Kenyon, Jean (Ed) Seiz and Barbie (Jerry) Lukes; and two brothers, Ronald (Jan) Mueller and Dennis (Pat) Mueller.

Alvin was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Donna; his sons, Gordon Mueller and Calvin Mueller; and his brothers, Jerry Mueller, Harry Mueller and Richard Mueller.

Because of his love of the Packers, there will be a memorial gathering during the Packer game on Sunday, October 7, 2012 from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Todd and Linda Utke residence at W4489 Hickory Road, Owen, WI 54460.

The Maurina Schilling Funeral Home of Owen is assisting the Mueller family with arrangements.
