Kaminski, Julie H. (27 April 1935 - 30 August 2012)

Julie H. Kaminski, 77, of Manhattan, NY, died August 30, 2012, at NYU Langone Medical Center after a short illness.

She was born April 27, 1935, in Thorp, Wisconsin, the daughter of Joseph and Anastasia Kaminski. She graduated from Thorp High School as valedictorian with the Class of 1953.

Julie received her teaching degree from River Falls State College in River Falls, WI in 1957. Later, she received her Masters Degree from the University of Miami of Ohio. Julie worked for United Artists in New York for many years and retired as a Vice President. Recently, she was active in community services and the theater.

Surviving are three sisters and two brothers: Rita Ciolkosz of Bonney Lake, WA; Josephine and husband Ralph Weitzel of Paynesville, MN; Thresa and husband Joe Zoromski of Neenah-Menasha, WI; John and wife Cora Kaminski of Milwaukee, WI; Louis Kaminski of Litchfield, IL; sister-in-law, Dorothy Kaminski of Frankfort, IL. She leaves many nieces and nephews, and many special friends in Manhattan, NY.

Preceding her in death were two sisters: Rose and Mary; one brother Anthony; and mother and father, Joseph and Anastasia Kaminski.

She will be cremated and memorial services will be held at a later date in Thorp, WI.
