Mary Kay Savina, Chicago, Ill., exchanged wedding vows with Conrad Szymoniak, Chicago, Ill., in a morning ceremony performed at St. Anne’s Catholic Church, Stanley, Saturday, June 15, 1963, with the Rev. Father Edmund Cramer officiating. The bride’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. Vincent Savina, Stanley, and parents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Walter Szymoniak, Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.).

The bride’s gown of Alencon lace over tulle was fashioned with sweetheart neckline and long tapered sleeves. The full tiered skirt accentuated with iridescent sequins cascaded to a chapel train. Her veil of silk illusion fell from a crown of pearls and aurora borealis. She carried American beauty roses.

Marilyn Jasper, Chippewa Falls, was maid of honor and bridesmaids were Beverly Duss, Marilee Hanson and Rose Piekurt, all of Chicago. They were gowned identically in ballerina length frocks of pink nylon over pale pink taffeta, with fitted bodices and bateau necklines. Their full circle skirts had a velvet bow at the waist. Matching headpieces held their veils and they carried multi-colored bouquets of carnations in lilac, pink, yellow and white.

Best man was Larry Pawlak, and groomsmen were Kenneth Kostick and Kenneth Szymoniak. Ushers were Roger Szymoniak, brother of the groom, and Jack Jasper.

Miss Pamela Jasper was miniature bride, wearing a dress identical to the bride’s made by her grandmother. She carried American beauty rosebud arrangement like the bride’s bouquet.

The ring bearer, Michael Savina, brother of the bride, carried the rings on a heart shaped satin pillow.

A dinner at noon for 83 guests and a reception for 500 guests from 6 ro 9 p.m. was held at the Stanley Auditorium. Mrs. Linda Tollefson and Mrs. Andrew Nawrocki poured. Mrs. Ronald Auberg registered the guests, Mrs. Patricia Nawrocki and Miss Sharon Ruda registered the gifts.

A corsage of apricot carnations complemented the beige lace sheath dress with apricot accessories worn by the bride’s mother. The groom’s mother wore blue brocaded taffeta, to which she pinned red and white carnations. Her accessories were white. Carnation corsages were worn by Mrs. C.A. Ebben, grandmother of the bride, and Mrs. John Ruda, grandmother of the groom.

The bride attended Stanley High School and is employed as a secretary by Glynn-Johnson Corp., and the groom attended Thorp High School and is a receiving clerk in with the Sunbeam Corp. The new couple will make their home at 1625 W. Sunnyside, Aprt. No. 510, Chicago 40, Ill.

Guests attended from Thorp, Gilman, Owen, Withee, Boyd, Eau Claire, Chippewa Falls, Chicago, Madison, Wausau, Chetek, Milwaukee, Kenosha, Racine, Exeland, Wis.; Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minn., and Marquette, Mich.
