Miss Edna Atkin of Minneapolis came Thursday and will spend a few weeks with her aunt, Mrs. M. Dorst and family.

The Country Club was entertained at the home of Miss Allie Root Thursday evening. A good attendance is reported.

The W.W. Club met with Mrs. M. Dorst Thursday and the usual good time was had by those attending.

Mr. John Hiles is on the sick list since early last week.

The J.B. Club held an ice cream social at the home of Frank Davis Saturday evening. A large attendance is reported.

This community was shocked Sunday morning by the sad news of the death of Mrs. Loren Hales at the Marshfield Hospital that morning. The funeral was held Wednesday afternoon at the York Center M.E. Church. The sympathy of the entire community is extended to the bereaved husband and other relatives.

Mr. and Mrs. Will McHenry and daughter Myrtle of Milwaukee are spending a week visiting the W.J. Davis family.

Mr. and Mrs. H.S. Agin visited the M. Dorst family Sunday and with them attended meeting at the Garbush schoolhouse.

Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Campbell of Marshfield are visiting old neighbors and relatives in this vicinity this week.

Leonard Dorst and sister Elsie attended the party at John Lynn’s last Wednesday.

L.A. Schneider and family and Miss Edna Phipps autoed to Marshfield Tuesday afternoon.
