Rev. Norbert E. King officiated at the double ring ceremony which united Lois Martha Wucherpfennig & Henry Edward Aumann, Jr. in marriage Saturday at 10 o’clock in St. Anthony’s Catholic Church. The music was furnished by the church choir.

The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Reinhold Wucherpfennig, Loyal was wed in a gown of chantilly lace with nylon tulle over net and satin, embroidered with pearls and sequins and a long lace tunic that extended into a chapel train. The fitted bodice was styled by a scalloped Sabrina neckline and long sleeves. Her fingertip veil was caught to a crown of sequins and pearls and she carried a fan shaped bouquet of red roses with a white orchid.

Mrs. Irban Aumann, the groom’s sister-in-law came from Milwaukee to be matron of honor and the bridal aides were Mrs. James Bauer, the bride’s sister from Marshfield and Jean Noeldner of Loyal. They were seen in floor length gowns with matching jackets of nylon net over taffeta in azalea with wide satin cummerbunds and complimented by matching velvet headpieces. They held white and pink carnations.

The bride’s mother saw her daughter’s wedding in a teal blue suit with black accessories, while the groom’s mother wore a navy blue sheath dress with beige accessories. Each had a corsage of white and pink rosebuds.

The son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Aumann, Sr., Loyal, chose his brother, Irban Aumann of Milwaukee to be his best man. Groomsmen were James Bauer, a brother-in-law of the bride from Marshfield and Kenneth Voss of Loyal. Seating the guests were Marvin Wucherpfennig, the bride’s brother and Clarence Aumann, a brother of the groom.

Wedding day events included a dinner, reception, supper and dance, all which were held at the Eagles Hall in Marshfoeld.

Both the bride and groom are graduates of Loyal High School. He is employed as a carpenter for Rogstad Builders and she is a secretary for an attorney at Greenwood.

After a honeymoon trip through northern Wisconsin and Michigan, the newlyweds will make their home in Loyal.
