Will, Lana Mae #2 (11 AUG 1962)

Bouquets of mixed flowers decorated the church altar for the wedding of Miss Lana Mae Will and Joseph James Ciszewski, which took place at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 11, 1962 in Holy Rosary Church at Owen.

Parents of the bridal couple are Mr. and Mrs. Foster Will of Owen and Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Ciszewski, Withee. Mr. Will gave his daughter in marriage before Rev. H.L. Crubel, pastor of the church. The church choir sang the nuptial High Mass.

Miss Will, for her wedding, chose a chapel-length gown of Chantilly lace fashioned by a scalloped Sabrina neckline, basque bodice and a bouffant skirt with a low peplum over alternate tiers of pleated gossamer sheer tulle and lace.

Her princess crown of pearls highlighted by pearl drops and rhinestones held her silk illusion fingertip veil. The cascade bouquet she carried was centered with a lavender orchid outlined with stephanotis and yellow feathered carnations and edged by white satin ribbon.

The five bridal attendants donned ballerina length frocks identically styled in pastel shades of maize, mint green, orchid, powder blue and pink taffeta, with lace yokes, the skirts of taffeta having side draping and triple bows. Dainty floral hats with short circular veils matched the gowns, and each attendant carried a colonial bouquet of vari-colored pompons.

Miss Ginger Will, Owen, was maid of honor, and the bridesmaids were: Mrs. Rose Horgan, Chicago, Ill., Mrs. Charlotte Rineck, Chippewa Falls, Miss Judy Kivikko, Curtiss, and Mrs. Delores Lobacz, Fort Wayne, Ind.

Dianne and Donald Lobacz were flower girl and ring bearer.

Attendants to the groom were Stanley Ciszewski of Chicago as best man, and Bernard Ciszewski, also of Chicago, Jack Rineck, Chippewa Falls, John Gehrke, Minneapolis, Minn., and Richard Keller of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., the groomsmen. Ushers were Larry Dallman and Roger Lesneski, Withee.

Wedding day events consisted of a breakfast served at the Woodland Hotel in Owen, a reception at the Colby Hotel in Colby, and the dance in the evening at the American Legion Hall in Owen.

The bride is a graduate of Owen-Withee High School and attended the College of St. Teresa in Winona, Minn. She has been employed at the Will Implement Co. The groom, also a graduate of the Owen-Withee High School, attended Wis. State College at Whitewater and is employed by the Will Implement Co.

Following a wedding trip through northern Michigan and Canada, the young couple will reside in Owen.
