Seefeld, Bruce (16 OCT 1952 - 14 JUN 2012)

Bruce "Sleeper" Seefeld, age 59, of Spencer, passed away Thursday, June 14, 2012 at Ministry St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at Hansen-Schilling Funeral Home in Spencer with Rev. Rebekah Tarras officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until service time at the funeral home. Following the service a time of food and fellowship will be at the American Legion in Unity.

Bruce was born on October 16, 1952, the son of Dale and Josephine (Conraad) Seefeld in Reedsburg, WI. He attended Colby Schools. He proudly served in the US Army during Vietnam.

Sleeper enjoyed fishing, tinkering with engines, and a good drink with a cigarette. Those that knew him best will remember him for his kind heart and love of crossword puzzles, word-find puzzles and scratch-off tickets.

He is lovingly survived by his father, Dale Seefeld; and siblings, Doug (Barb) Seefeld of Spencer, Barb (Darrel) Elpert-Timm of Unity, Deb (Michael) Coverston of Hazelhurst, Barry Seefeld of Bensenville, IL, Ken Seefeld of Unity, Brad "Yogi" Seefeld of Unity and Rhonda Albrecht of Withee. He is further survived by a sister-in-law, Kris Seefeld of Unity; as well as, many other family and friends. He will truly be missed.

Sleeper was preceded in death by his mother, Jo and a brother Jeffrey Seefeld.
