Albert, also of Withee.

The Rev. H.L. Crubel officiated at the ceremony and nuptial Mass which took place at 9:30 o’clock in the morning with the sisters of the church singing the Mass.

The bride was given in marriage by her grandfather, John M. Sequin embroidery on the waistline accented the bouffant skirt of lace and tulle. Pearls and sequins trimmed the hearts on the crown which held her imported silk illusion veil. White roses centered by a large purple orchid composed the bouquet which the bride carried.

In the bridal party were Mrs. Jerome Wnek of Thorp, as matron of honor, and bridesmaids, Mrs. Mari Poppe, Miss Jean Albert and Miss Josephine Malinowski, all of Withee.

Their gowns were in orchid and white designed with scoop neckline, cap sleeves and wide cummerbunds above bouffant skirts with orchid panels were complemented by crystal braid crowns with veils, and bouquets of orchid and white carnations.

Carol Halida and Jerome Kotlowski were flower girls and ring bearer.

The groom’s attendants were Jerome Wnek, Thorp, best man, Daniel Poppe, Withee, Jim Lukasiewicz, Thorp, and David Wittek, Withee, groomsmen. Ushers were Jerome LePage and Bud Poppe.

The P.N.A. Hall at Thorp was the scene of the wedding events which consisted of a breakfast following the ceremony and a supper at 5:30 o’clock.
