Gluch, G. Herman (10 July 1882 - 18 September 1966)

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon from the Zion American Lutheran Church in the Town of Grant for G. Herman Gluch, 84, of Marshfield, who died Sunday in Neillsville. The Rev. Walter Schulteis of Marshfield officiated. Burial was made in the parish cemetery in the Town of Grant.

Mr. Gluch was born July 10, 1882, in the Town of Grant, where he also attended school. He later attended the Dairy Short Course in Madison and operated dairy plants besides being engaged in farming. He moved to Marshfield in 1931.

Mr. Gluch held church offices, was baptized, confirmed, married and buried from the Zion American Lutheran Church in the Town of Grant. On October 15, 1913, he was married to the former Ida Winter, who died in 1962. He was a member of the Faith Lutheran Church in Marshfield.

He is survived by three children: Mrs. Donald (Irene) Braatz of Neillsville; Mrs. Al (Vivian) Breseman of Madison; and Leonard Gluch of Beloit. Other survivors are three sisters, Mrs. Christine Garbisch of Granton, Mrs. Amelia Schlinsog of Neillsville, and Mrs. Ida Howard of Wisconsin Rapids; 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Funeral arrangements were made by the Georgas Funeral Home.
