Globe (18 August 1966)

Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Grap, Sr., and his mother, Mrs. Martha Grap, drove to Milwaukee Saturday, where they visited their children. Mrs. Martha Grap remained at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Grap for a week’s visit. Mrs. Clarence Huettenrauch and children accompanied her parents here Monday and plans to visit with her home folks for the next few weeks.

Miss Bertha Mitte of Milwaukee, Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Mitte and Mr. and Mrs. Jim Vincent of Neillsville, spent Thursday evening with Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Vincent and family.

Miss Bertha Mitte returned to her employment in Milwaukee Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Mitte, Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Vincent and family, Miss Bertha Mitte and Harold Mitte attended a birthday party for Robert Mitte at his home Friday evening.

Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Klauer of Milwaukee were overnight guests Saturday at the Leo Henchen and Hugo Klauer home. Their son, Darrell, who spent about six weeks at the Henchen-Klauer home and with his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Klauer in Neillsville, returned home Sunday afternoon with his parents.

Mr. and Mrs. Emmett McDoungh and family drove here from Chicago to spend some time at their summer home in the Globe area. Sunday evening they visited Mr. and Mrs. Herman Dux. The two ladies are sisters.

Mr. and Mrs. William Morley of Granton visited Mr. and Mrs. Emmett McDoungh and family and were supper guests there.

Mr. and Mrs. Paul Klauer were dinner guests at the Henchen and Klauer home Sunday.
