Behrens, Cheryl Lyn (Marriage - 17 June 1966)

 

Nuptial vows were exchanged Saturday in a double ring ceremony in Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Greenwood uniting in marriage Miss Cheryl Lyn Behrens of Greenwood, and Steven John Stillmark, Jr., of Milwaukee.  Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Louis Behrens of Greenwood and Mr. and Mrs. S. J. Stillmark, Sr., of Milwaukee. The Rev. Arvid Myhrwold officiated.

 

Two hundred guests witnessed as Mr. Behrens gave his daughter in marriage.

 

For her wedding the bride chose a floor length white linen gown fashioned with an Empire waistline, accented by Alencon lace, from which her chapel train cascaded. A pillbox headpiece held her elbow length veil.  She carried a bouquet of white gladioli.

 

Attendants were Miss Patricia Palecek of West Allis, maid of honor, and Miss Jean Redgren of Menomonie, Miss Diane Wuethrich of Greenwood and Mrs. Jerome Behrens of Denver, Colo., bridesmaids. The attendants wore floor length floral gowns, styled with Empire waistlines. They carried bouquets of pink carnations.

 

Bestman was Robert Hentgen of Milwaukee.  Groomsmen were Michael Sokolowski of Milwaukee, Dr. Jerome Behrens of Denver, Colo., and Roger Maren of Milwaukee.  Ushers were Richard and Donald Warner of Chetek.

 

The bride is a 1966 graduate of the University-Wisconsin Nursing School, with a B. S. degree. She will be employed at the University Hospital.  Mr. Stillmark, a graduate of South Milwaukee High School, is attending the University of Wisconsin. 

 

Mrs. Stillmark is a member of Alpha Tau Delta, national nursing sorority.
