Fritz, Donna Mae (Marriage - 17 June 1966)

Miss Donna Mae Fritz, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Loraine W. Fritz, was united in marriage Saturday to Leroy Paul Schultz, son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert A. Schultz of Rt. 1 Curtiss. The 8 a.m. nuptial ceremony was performed by the Rev. F. H. Sprengler in St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Dorchester.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, chose for her wedding a white crepe floor length gown, styled with a straight skirt. The Basque bodice was fashioned with long sleeves and a curved neckline with sculptured lace trim.  She wore a waist length mantilla and carried a white Bible topped with a crescent styled bouquet of yellow roses and white stephanotis.

Miss Mary Ann Fritz was her sister’s maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Kenneth Thorson of Eau Claire and Miss Diana Schultz of Curtiss. The attendants wore light blue crepe floor length dresses styled with Empire waistlines. The bodices of the dresses, in darker blue were fashioned with short sleeves and curved necklines.

Albert Schultz of Thorp was bestman. Groomsmen were Ross Fritz and David Schultz, both of Curtiss.  Ushers were David Smith of Withee and Jerome Kasper of Kenosha.

A reception at the bride’s home followed the ceremony. The couple left on a wedding trip to St. Croix Falls, and are now at home at 2601-X Nebel St. Stevens Point.
