Klancher, Frank J. (11 March 1903 - 19 June 1966)

 

Frank J. Klancher, 63, of Greenwood, died Sunday in Marshfield.  He had been a patient in a hospital there since June 1.  Funeral services were held Wednesday at 9 a.m. from the Hill Funeral Home in Greenwood and at 10 a.m. from St. Mary’s Catholic Church. The Rev. Aloysius Baumann officiated.  Burial was made in Holy Family Catholic Church (parish cemetery) in Willard.

 

Mr. Klancher was born March 11, 1903, in Ely, Minn., to Mr. and Mrs. Frank Klancher, Sr. on April 16, 1928 he was married to the former Caroline Godec in Willard.

 

He lived in Ely, Minn., until 1910, when he came to Gorman with his parents. They moved to West Allis and lived there until 1930, when they came back to Willard, where he was manager of the O & N and for one year under the United Building Center in Greenwood.

 

He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Greenwood.

 

Survivors besides his wife include: a son, James; three sisters, Mrs. Steve (Mary) Koufrin of West Allis, Mrs. Alice Prebil of Boyceville and Mrs. Frances Duetsch of Chicago; and four brothers, Anton and Adolph of West Allis, Paul of Willard and Albert of Chicago.
