Leonard Zuehlke is working for Mr. L. Knoop.

 

Mr. Chas. Guk transacted business at Waupaca and Augusta on Wednesday.

 

Albert Quicker went to Marshfield on Friday to partake in the drills of Co. A., of which he is a member.

 

Owing to the bad roads caused by the few days thaw, our mailman was forced to abandon his route at the F. Gotter corner since last Friday.  All those living on the north road were obliged to walk one mile south to get the news.

 

Mr. F. Grade bought a load of shingles on Thursday and intends to re-shingle his granary before seeding.

 

Mr. E. Steckert tipped over with a load of sawdust and feed on the Henning hill last Thursday.

 

Mr. and Mrs. H. Wordell were Marshfield visitors last Tuesday.

 

Miss Mary Drescher spent Thursday afternoon and evening with Mrs. Wordell.

 

Erwin Braun returned from the woods Friday.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Carl Zenze made a trip to Marshfield last Saturday.

 

Herbert Braun sawed wood at Mr. A. Beisner’s last week.

 

Erwin Braun is hauling stone for W. Fischer.

 

Miss Ina Huckstead spent Sunday at Wordell’s.
