Rueth, Cecelia (11 OCT 1958)

Flowers of yellow and white chrysanthmums bedecked the altar of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Loyal to form a setting of the wedding Saturday morning at ten o’clock of Miss Cecelia Rueth, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Rueth, Loyal, where she became the bride of Paul R. Bugar, Loyal.

Escorting his daughter into the church, Mr. Rueth gave her in marriage to the son of Mrs. Giesle Bugar, in the presence of Rev. Norbert King who officiated at the exchange of marriage vows. The choir of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church sang the nuptial high mass.

The wedding guests were ushered into the church by James Mrotek, Madison, cousin of the bride and Robert Bugar, Marshfield, brother of the groom.

For her wedding the bride selected  a floor length gown of nylon over satin with a fitted bodice and sequin and pearl trim. The gown featured a Sabrina neckline triommed with sequins, long fitted sleeves, and a tiered back of rose point type lace and tulle, bouffant skirt.

Her finger tip veil of sheer illusion net fell from a headpiece of rhinestones and seed pearls trim. Her bouquet was a cascade of red roses and stephonatis. The maid of honor, Miss Gertrude Rueth, Loyal, wore a gown of coral pink, pure silk organza, with a scoop neck line, shirred three quarter length sleeve and Harem skirt. The bridesmaid, Mrs. Sylvester Rueth, Loyal, wore a similar gown of French blue. They wore matching picture hats and carried bouquets of yellow carnations and Stephonatis.

The flower girl Mary McGuire, niece of the groom and daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald McQuire, Milwaukee, whose bouquet was a miniature of the brides, wore a white ballerina gown and a picture hat. Billy Rueth, son of Mr. and Mrs. Sylvester Rueth, a nephew of the bride, was ring bearer.

Donald Bugar, brother of the groom, was best man and Sylvester Rueth, brother of the bride, was groomsman.

Following the church services there was a dinner and supper served at he church hall and a dance at Bruno’s Ballroom in Marshfield in the evening.

The couple will make their home in Loyal where Mr. Bugar is a trucker.
