26 ROAD

 

Several of the neighbors helped John Endries lath their new home two evenings last week.  The new home is being wired for electricity this week.

 

Members of the Salem Lutheran congregation will sponsor a chicken dinner at the Veefkind parish hall Sunday, Oct. 26.

 

Miss Mildred Stochek attended a wedding of a friend Saturday at Neillsville.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Jack Nelson and son, Johnny of Neenah spent the week-end with the latter’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Matt Jost.

 

Mrs. Joe Stochek and daughter, Mildred, are enjoying a couple of weeks in Chicago with relative.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Albert Vanderhof entertained the following Sunday to a chicken dinner:  Mr. and Mrs. Jac. Schmidt, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Visnosky and son, Ralph, Chas. Huntley of Park Falls, Mr. and Mrs. Archie Smith, Mrs. Art Stry of Loyal, Mr. and Mrs. Max Rue and son, Howard, Mr. and Mrs. Ed. Voelker and family.

 

Don’t forget the Producing Product program and meeting at the Holmes school Friday evening, Oct. 24.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Ed. Voelker, Mr. and Mrs. Max Rue attended a meeting at Greenwood Tuesday evening.
