Piatek, Joseph (16 Dec 1907 - 19 Aug 1928)

 

Joseph Piatek died at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Piatek died at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Piatek in the town of Reseburg, Clark County, Wis., of tuberculosis, Sunday, Aug. 19, 1928, aged 20 years, 7 months and 30 days.

 

He was born in Chicago on Dec. 16, 1907, moving to Thorp with his parents when 9 months old. For several years past and up to the time of his illness he was employed as electrician in Chicago.

 

He leaves to mourn his untimely death, his parents, three brothers, Stanley of Chicago, and Albert and Leon of Thorp, four sisters, Mrs. Julia Kowieski, Mrs. Helen Kowieski, and Mrs. Frances Jusrkiewicz of Chicago, and Miss Bernice Piatek of Thorp.

 

The funeral was held at St. Hedwig's Church on Wednesday, Aug. 22, Rev. Kulig officiating, and interment taking place in the nearby cemetery.
