Tomaszewski, Jack A. (24 Jun 1897 - 4 Jun 1928)

 

Jack A Tomaszewski, beloved son of Mr. and Mrs. John Tomaszewski of the town of Withee, Clark County, Wis., passed away at the home of his parents on Monday, June 4th, 1928. Tuberculosis, from which he had suffered for several years, was the cause of his untimely death. Deceased was born here on June 24, 1897, and upon reaching manhood moved to Chicago, where himself and brother Joe conducted a garage business. Affected with the dread disease he spent several winters in the west in order to improve is health, but to no avail. Several weeks ago he came here to the home of his parents to await the end. On Nov. 23, 1927 he was united in marriage to Emily Szymczak, who with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Tomaszewski, two sisters, Marie and Anna, and five brothers, Joseph, George, Frank, Andro and Peter, are left to mourn. The funeral took place on Thursday morning last from St. Hedwig's Church, Rev. F. A Kulig officiating, interment following in the nearby cemetery. May his soul rest in peace.
