Lowell Maxon was born June 12, 1906 to Harrison C. and Daisy M. (Andrus) Maxon in Mentor, Clark County, Wisconsin. His father, a veterinary surgeon, was born December 18, 1839, in Adams Center, New York. His mother was a native of Wisconsin. She was the daughter of Sanford and Olive (Edwards) Andrus of Broome Co., New York where both of them were born in 1855. Besides Lowell, they were the parents of Thelma Fae (b. 25 Dec. 1901) and Paul Crouch Maxon (b. 9 Dec. 1898).
Lowell and Miss Mildred Lastofka of Neillsville, Clark County, Wis. were married at Winona September 1, 1928. After a short visit in Neillsville with his mother, the groom left for Prairie Farm, near Barron, where he has a position in a barber shop. Mildred followed later. They were the parents of a son, Richard, born in 1923.
Lowell married a second time to Eva Brown and they had a daughter, Sally Ann Maxon, who was born June 12, 1906.
Lowell married a third time to Dorothy Stusek.
Lowell died September 18, 1964 in Outagamie Co., Wisconsin at the age of fifty-seven (Vol. M-pg.1).
