MABEL KNOLL
 

Mabel Manerva Knoll, 81, formerly of Granton, Clark County, died Saturday, April 15, 1995, at the Clark County Health Care Center, Owen, where she had resided since Feb. 1, 1995. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, April 18, 1995, at Rembs/Kundinger Chapel, Marshfield. Alfred Broady and Curtis Bauske officiated. Burial was in Yolo Cemetery, Town of Fremont, Clark County. Pallbearers were nephews Dennis Markham and Terry Markham and friends Arthur Tominka, Carrol Andrews, Jeffrey Andrews and Donald Berthold.


Mabel Manerva Markham was born on Jan. 6, 1914, in Augusta, to Ira and Mattie (nee Pierce) Markham. She attended Augusta area schools. She married Henry A. Knoll on Sept. 26, 1930, in Nasonville. He preceded her in death on Feb. 15, 1990. After their marriage, they farmed in the Town of Fremont until 1970, when they moved to Granton.


Survivors include one daughter, Audrey (Larry) Wibel, Marshfield six grandchildren eight great-grandchildren and one sister, Ina (Victor) Anderson, Marshfield.


She was preceded in death by her husband her parents one son, Henry A. Hank on Jan. 4, 1990 three brothers and one sister.
Rembs/Kundinger Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
