Orsburn, Bud (1901 - 1980)


Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m., Thursday, March 27 at the Rinka Funeral Home, Loyal, Clark County, for Bud Orsburn, 79, of 648 East 2nd St., Owen, who died at 4:25 a.m., Tuesday, March 25, 1980 at the Clark County Health Care Center.
Rev. Alwyn York of Greenwood will officiate and burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery.


The body will lie in state at Rinka Funeral Home, Loyal, after 3 p.m., Wednesday, March 26 and until the time of services.


Bud Orsburn was born to Oria and Rachael (Fergenson) Orsburn in Bloom City, Richland County on Feb. 2, 1901 and attended Bloom City Schools.


He was married to Ruth Thomas on Jan. 12, 1925 in Bessmer, Mich. They farmed in the Town of Mead for many years, moving to Owen in 1976.


He is survived by his wife, Ruth one son, Bernard of Owen two daughters, Mrs. Gene (Eva) Bomback of Aurora, Ill. and Mrs. Doris Auman of Willard three sisters, Mrs. John (Elsie) Kuhn of Marshfield, Mrs. Jack (Beulah) Ormond of Neillsville and Mrs. Lester (Dolly) Wetzel of Greenwood one brother, Ted of Merseilles, Ill. seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.


Serving as pallbearers will be Glen Tieman, Gary Lindgren, Glen Orsburn, Gene Djubenski, Laurence Scheuerman and Larry Auman. Rinka Funeral Home, Loyal, is in charge of arrangements.
