HELEN WINDOM
 

Helen Windom, 69, of 202 S. Andrew, Greenwood, Clark County, was pronounced deal on arrival at Memorial Hospital on Wednesday morning, Dec. 6, 1978. She had been taken to the hospital that morning by Greenwood Ambulance.


Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 9 at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Greenwood. Rev. Douglas Groenewold officiated and Mrs. Lil Warner was the organist. Interment was in the Greenwood Cemetery.


Helen Windom was born on Sept. 8, 1909 in Melrose and received her education at Hemlock School.


She was never married. She lived on a farm in the Town of Warner with her brothers and moved to Greenwood in 1958, where she has lived ever since.


She was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church.


Surviving are her two brothers, John Lendo of Greenwood and Elmer of Greenwood.


She was preceded in death by her parents four sisters and six brothers.


Serving as pallbearers were Donald Ossman, Gerald Steffen, Doris Wagar, Mark LaRose, Mike LaRose and Arendt Danielson. Rinka Funeral Home, Greenwood, was in charge of arrangements.
