Reindel, Franklin G. (1907 - 1991)


Franklin (Slim) G. Reindel, 83, Black River Falls, died Friday, May 24, 1991, at Black River Falls Memorial Hospital. Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 28, 1991, at 11 a.m. at Gesche Funeral Home, Inc., Neillsville. Rev. James Gordon officiated and burial was in the Neillsville City Cemetery. Pallbearers were Harold Embke, David Rozmenoski, Danny Rozmenoski, Tom Hagen, Larry Haller and Bill Sims. Honorary pallbearers were Walter Saibold, Alvin Lavine, and Barney Johanson.


Franklin G. Reindel was born Sept. 14, 1907, in the town of York, Clark County, to George and Emma (nee Schoengarth) Reindel. He received his education at town of York and Neillsville schools. He farmed in the town of Grant with his parents until his marriage. He married Clara A. Wrensch April 18, 1931, in Winona, Minn. She survives. After their marriage they farmed in the town of York until 1962, when they semi-retired to Neillsville. They moved to Black River Falls in 1968, where they have resided since. He worked part-time for Pine Motor Lodge, Black River Falls.


Survivors include his wife two daughters, Mrs. Arnold (Betty) Rozmenoski, Black River Falls and Sandra L. Reindel, Richfield, Minn. one sister, Mrs. Glen (Helene) Mills, Loyal one aunt, Anita Schoengarth, Neillsville three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, one son, two brothers and two sisters.


Gesche Funeral Home, Inc., handled the arrangements.
