Seefluth, Emma (1899 - 1990)

Emma Seefluth, 91, died Saturday morning, Sept. 1, 1990, at Riverview Manor Nursing Home, Wisconsin Rapids. A memorial service was held Tuesday, Sept. 4, 1990, at Taylor Funeral Home, Wisconsin Rapids. Rev. Larry Jorstad of Grace Lutheran Church, Wisconsin Rapids, officiated. The body was cremated.

Emma Brockhaus was born to John and Anna Brockhaus Jan. 19, 1899, at Appleton. She married Walter Seefluth May 19, 1920, at Appleton. He preceded her in death July 23, 1943. She lived in the town of Beaver, Clark County, for many years, moving to Loyal in 1944. They moved from Loyal to Wisconsin Rapids in 1950, where she worked for Riverview Hospital until retiring in 1966. She lived at the nursing home for the last five years.

She is survived by three sons, Marvin of Las Vegas, Nev., and Allen and Royal of Wisconsin Rapids one daughter, Leatrice Meier, Wisconsin Rapids one sister, Martha Wernwith, St. Paul, Minn. 12 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.
