Ulesich, Joseph Sr. (1875 - 1958)


GREENWOOD--Joseph Ulesich Sr., 83, Willard, Clark County, died at the home of his son, Anton Ulesich early Wednesday morning, June 11, after a brief illness.


Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Hill Funeral Home and burial will be made in the Greenwood Cemetery. The Rev. Ethel Nulton, pastor of Grace Methodist Church, will officiate. The body is lying in state at eh Hill Funeral Home.


Mr. Ulesich was born March 19, 1875 in Yugoslavia and was married to Gertrude Tisol in 190 At Calumet, Mich. They came to Willard in 1915 and farmed 6 miles west of here until 1950, when they retired and built a home in Greenwood. His wife died in May 1957.


He is survived by three daughters, and seven sons Mrs. Nicholas (Mary) Waitkus, Riverside, Ill. Mrs. William (Ann) Strang, Chicago, Ill. Mrs. Thomas (Frances) Mangini, Los Angeles, Calif. Anton, Willard Raymond and William of Milwaukee Leo, Owen Rudolph of Sparta John, Chicago, Ill. and Joseph Jr. of Greenwood. He also is survived by 13 grandchildren.
