Kocher, Leonard A. (1891 - 1954)


GREENWOOD--Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Hill Funeral Home in Greenwood for Leonard Alvin Kocher, 63, who died here at 4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 29, 1954 at his home, 1803 E. Fourth St. His death was due to a stroke, which he suffered several months ago.


Mrs. Hilda Conway, Christian Science reader, will be in charge of the rites. Burial will take place in the Greenwood Cemetery.


Mr. Kocher was born Jan. 11, 1891, in Wauwatosa, where he received his education. In 1910, he came to Greenwood, Clark County, where he lived on a farm until 12 years ago, when he came to Marshfield. He was unmarried.


He is survived by three sisters, Laura, Ella and Cora Kocher, Marshfield and a brother, Fred Kocher, Greenwood.


Two sisters, Mrs. Minnie Beecher and Mrs. Rose Voight, and a brother, George Kocher, preceded him in death.


Friends may call at the Hill Funeral Home, Greenwood, where the body will lie in state this afternoon and evening.
