Danielson, Mary (1868 - 1965)


GREENWOOD--Mrs. Mary Danielson, 97, rural route, Loyal, Clark County, died at 9:45 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 3, 1965 at her home.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Greenwood. The Rev. Arvid Myhrwold will officiate, and burial will be made in the Greenwood Cemetery.


The body will repose at the Hill Funeral Home in Greenwood until 11 a.m. Saturday, and then at the church.


The former Mary Pearson was born Sept. 19, 1868, in Sweden, and in 1892 came to the United States and settled in Chicago, Ill. Her marriage to David Danielson, who preceded her in death April 14, 1944, took place Fe. 25, 1893.


They moved from Chicago to the Greenwood area in 1906 and settled on a farm northeast of here, where she had resided since then.


Mrs. Danielson was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church and of its American Lutheran Women's Society, Greenwood.


Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Hanne Stensvold, Eau Claire; three sons, Peder, Woodstock, Ill.; David and Arendt, rural route, Loyal; nine grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.
