FRANK PETKOVSEK


Frank J. Petkovsek, 74, Willard, Clark County, died Friday, Nov. 22, 1991, at the emergency room of Neillsville Memorial Hospital, Neillsville. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 25, 1991, at Rinka Funeral Home, Greenwood. Rev. James Lesczynski officiated.


Burial was in Holy Family Cemetery. Pallbearers were David Volovsek, Luke Yurkovich, Jerry Greisen, Charles Herrick, Selvian Herrick and Robert Herrick. Full military rites were accorded by the Greenwood American Legion.


Frank J. Petkovsek was born Jan. 11, 1917, in Waukegan, Ill., to Frank and Mary (nee Jereb) Petkovsek. He received his education at North Mound School, Willard, and vocational school in Marshfield. He married Marjorie Graham March 16, 1986, in Silver City, N.M. He owned and operated Greenwood Refrigeration. He sold it and then also worked for Greenwood Milk Products for 15 years until his retirement. He was a WW II veteran and a member of the Knights of Columbus.


Survivors include his wife, Marjorie two sons, Larry, Madison; and Gary, Stoughton; and two grandchildren.


He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Joseph.


Rinka Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
