JAMES R. CRONIN


Greenwood--James Russell Cronin, 66, Greenwood, Clark County, died of an apparent heart attack early Wednesday morning, April 9, 1975 at his home.


Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Hill Funeral Home in Greenwood. Officiating will be the Rev. David Logue, pastor of Zion United Church of Christ. Burial will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery.


Visitations will begin Friday afternoon at the funeral home.


Born in Greenwood April 18, 1908, Mr. Cronin was employed in Illinois from 1950 to 1969, when he returned to Greenwood. He married the former Neveline Brown on June 11, 1943, in the Town of Warner, She survives.


Other survivors include four sisters, Mrs. Owen (Margaret) Williams, Glendive, Mont. and Mrs. Gertrude McCann, Mrs. Martin (Rosella) Zickert and Mrs. Phillip (Anna) Vollrath, all of Greenwood.


He was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.
