FELIX AUMAN


Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m., Thursday, Nov. 3 at the Rinka Funeral Home, Greenwood, for Felix Auman, 58, of Route 1, Willard, Clark County, who passed away at 3:55 a.m., Tuesday, Nov. 1, 1977 at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield.


Officiating will be Rev. James Lesczynski of Holy Family Church, Willard, and burial will be in the Slovanian Willard Cemetery.


The body will lie in state at the Rink Funeral Home, Greenwood, after 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 2.


Felix Auman was born at Willard on March 26, 1919 to Frank and Angeline Auman. He received his education at rural Willard Schools.


He was married to Doris Orsburn of March 5, 1941 at Neillsville.


He farmed for 22 years in the Town of Hendren until 1962. He then operated the Rock Dam Resort for eight years until 1970. He was self-employed in the pulping and trucking business.


Surviving his are his wife, Doris one son, Larry of Route 1, Willard two daughters, Mrs. Richard (Donna) Abel of Willard and Mrs. Eugene (Sharon) Djubenski of Willard three brothers, Frank of Greenwood and Victor of Chicago five sisters, Mrs. Angeline Verhunce of Greenwood, Mrs. Ignatz (Steffie) Gabrovic of Willard, Mrs. Vernon (Mary) Dergance of Willard, Mrs. John (Toni) Panyan of Duluth, Minn., and Mrs. Ann Hoffman of Reno, Nev. and four grandsons.


Rinka Funeral Home, Greenwood, is in charge of arrangements.

Auman, Felix (26 March 1919 – 1 November 1977)

Felix Auman, 58, Rt. 1 Willard, died at 3:55 a.m., Tuesday at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield. Mr. Auman was born March 26, 1919, in Willard and was married to Doris Orsburn, March 3, 1941, in Neillsville. He received his education in Willard schools. He farmed in the Town of Hendren for 22 years, retiring in 1962, He operated the Rock Dam Resort for eight years until 1970. After that, he was self-employed in the pulping and trucking business.

He is survived by his wife, and one son Larry of Willard; two daughters, Mrs. Richard (Donna) Abel and Mrs. Eugene (Sharon) Djubenski, both of Willard; two brothers, Frank of Greenwood and Victor of Chicago; five sisters, Mrs. Angeline Verhunce of Greenwood, Mrs. Ignatz (Steffie) Gabrovic and Mrs. Vernon (Mary) Dergance, both of Willard, Mrs. John (Toni) Passyan of Duluth, Mn., and Mrs. Ann Hoffman of Reno, Nv.; and four grandsons.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, November 3, at the Rinka Funeral Home in Greenwood. The Rev. James Lesczynski, pastor of the Holy Family Church in Willard, officiated and burial was made in the Willard Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Arthur Kolstad, Walter Krultz, Frank Celar, Tony Ulesich, William Petkovsek and Edward Dergance.
