AUGUST DANIELSON DIES EARLY MONDAY
FUNERAL RITES SCHEDULED THURSDAY FOR GREENWOOD FARMER, 69


Greenwood Funeral rites will be conducted at the David Danielson home at 1:30 p.m. and at the Trondhjem Lutheran Church at 2 p.m. on Thursday for August Danielson, 69, who died at 9 a..m. Monday, Jan. 3, 1944, of a heart ailment.


Death occurred at the home of his brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. David Danielson, with whom he had been living since suffering a severe heart attack 11 days ago. Their home is 6 miles northeast of Greenwood, Clark County.


Mr. Danielson was born in Norway on July 19, 1874, and came to the United States when he was 21. He lived in Chicago until 1918, when he came to Greenwood, and he was married on June 26, 1918, to Dagmar Olson, who died in Oct. 1925.


After their marriage they settled on a farm 2 miles northeast of Greenwood, where he continued to live until his fatal illness.


Surviving are a daughter, Miss Hazel, Chicago, and three brothers, David of Greenwood, and Nels and Bjornesta in Norway, and three sisters, Mrs. Hannah Iverson, Chicago, Mrs. Sophia Iverson (The rest of my copy was cut off)
