OBITUARY OF PAUL MOLDENHAUER


Paul Moldenhauer passes away at a Milwaukee hospital on Thursday, Sept 7, 1939 after an illness of several months duration. He was a son of Charles Moldenhauer of Pella, Wis., and had reached the age of 37 years, 10 months and 27 days. His mother passed away 11 years ago.


Paul left home when a lad, still in his teens. In 1926 and 1927 he operated a cheese factory northwest of Greenwood, Clark County now know as the R. W. Moldenhauer factory. 12 years ago he went to Milwaukee, where he was engaged in business ever since.


He was married in that city six years ago to Miss Loretta Honick, who with the following sisters and brothers survive, including his father, Chas. Moldenhauer Mrs. Ella Verch of Marion, Wis. Richard, Otto and Alex of Greenwood Mrs. Louise Weix and Lydia of Shawano Fred of Pella Marcus and Mrs. Hazel Boaz of Mackinzie, Tenn. Bernice of Chippewa Falls, and Mrs. Ida Gary of Detroit, Mich.


The body was taken to Marion, Wis., where it lay in state at the Uttermark Funeral Home, from where the funeral was held Monday afternoon, Sept. 11, 1939, Rev. Gehhardt Nass officiated. Burial was in Greenleaf Cemetery at Marion.
