LOUIS VOGEL


Louis Vogel, 77, of 301 South Crocker, Greenwood, Clark County, passed away at 5 p.m., Monday, May 23, 1977, at Memorial Hospital, Neillsville.


Funeral services for Louis Vogel were conducted by Rev. Robert Houston, pastor of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Greenwood, at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, May 26, at the Rinka Funeral Home, Greenwood.


Interment was made in the Greenwood Cemetery. Rinka Funeral Home, Greenwood, was in charge of arrangements.


Louis Vogel was born on Oct. 10, 1899, at Loyal, to Charles and Anna Vogel. He received his education at rural Loyal Schools and attended Catholic school.


He was married to Rhonda Pipkorn in Owen on Jan. 19, 1923.


He worked for various garages in the Loyal and Greenwood area as a mechanic for over 30 years, retiring in 1962.


He is survived by his wife, Rhonda, Greenwood one daughter, Mrs. Bernard (Virginia) Vesel, Port Washington three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.


Art Danielson, Greg Rogillio, Ervin Geisler, Dr. Allen Pacholke, Harry Panko and John Trampush served as pallbearers.
