FORMER GREENWOOD RESIDENT DIES


George Allds
of 1038 South 6th Ave., Wausau, Wis., died at his home Thursday morning, March 17th, 1932, after an illness of one day, following a heart attack.


Funeral services were conducted Saturday afternoon at the home, by the Rev. P. W. Erickson of the First Presbyterian Church. Interment was in the Pine Grove Cemetery of Wausau.


The deceased was born near Camp Douglas, Wis., April 13, 1872. He was married to Hannah Brookman on Sept. 6, 1897, at Hustler, Wis. He came to Greenwood, Clark County in the year 1900 and resided here for twenty-two years, where he made a host of friends. In 1922 he moved his family to their present home in Wausau.


Surviving are the widow, two sons, Dr. H. L. Allds of Chicago Ellis Allds of Wausau a daughter, Mrs. H. L. Rifleman of Rhinelander a grandson, Ellis Allds Jr., of Wausau a brother, Frank Allds of Camp Douglas, and a sister, Mrs. Wm. Edison of Hillsboro, who were all present at the funeral.


Other out of town relatives attending were, H. L. Rifleman, Mr. and Mrs. George Wilson, Mrs. Grover Danfields and A. J. Wilson of Rhinelander Mr. and Mrs. G. E. Pinch and Mrs. Joe Byer of Camp Douglas George W. and Mabel Bishop of Greenwood.
The Gleaner joins their many friends her in extending sympathy to the bereaved family.
