OBITUARY OF JOHN E. PASHKE


John Erdman Pashke
was born in Germany on May 7, 1853. He was married there to Ausgustee Yabush before coming to the U.S. To this union were born nine children, four sons, and five daughters. His wife, three sons and two daughters preceded him in death, his wife passing away on July 11, 1927.


Mr. Pashke died at the home of his son Gust, northeast of Greenwood, Clark County, Monday morning, April 7, 1930, at 2:30 o'clock, having reached the age of 76 years, 11 months. He recently suffered a paralytic stroke which was the cause of his death.
He is survived by one son, Gust Pashke, Greenwood, and three daughters, Ida Rink, Chicago Emma Mueller, Kenosha and Alma Ganz, Kenosha. He also leaves a number of grandchildren and many friends.


Funeral services were held at the Pashke home Tuesday afternoon, Rev. Arnold Borchardt officiating. The body was taken to Neillsville in the Schiller funeral coach and from there it was shipped to Kenosha for burial.


The pallbearers were Frank Schroeder, Ernest Sinclair, Harry Smith , Walter Acker, Wesley Worden and Emil Arp.
